略歴

Neil is passionate about sustainability and spent the past three decades driving positive change through markets and investment. Agcelerator is focused on the nexus of clean water, energy and agriculture and provides catalytic capital and resources to structure infrastructure solutions so that institutional capital can invest and deploy projects at scale.

Neil started his career in 1988 trading commodities at Glencore based in the US, Europe and China. Motivated by the Kyoto Protocol in 1997, Neil left Glencore to establish the carbon trading desk at Natsource and in partnership with several Japanese leaders including Mitsubishi Corp and Tokyo Tanshi, Neil helped build Natsource into the largest private sector environmental finance fund with $1.4 Billion under management and offices in New York, London and Tokyo.

In 2008 Neil established the US operation for Macquarie Bank’s Environmental Financial Products division (EFP) and helped build Macquarie into one of the leading developers of carbon mitigation projects and biomass fuel supply. Since 2010, Neil has founded and successfully exited two ventures, N-Flex distributed fertilizer production (now part of Beowulf Energy) and TeleSwitch Finance (now called TelEfficient and part of the Coefficient Group).

Neil attended Yeshiva University and studied medicine at the Touro-Technion Center for Biomedical Education.
